Learn & Protect : Our Wildlife Awareness Programs

At Naxos Wildlife Protection, we believe that awareness and education is the first step towards conservation. We develop and deliver wildlife awareness and environmental education programs aimed at fostering respect and responsibility towards wildlife and the natural world.
Our team performs a variety of training sessions and school presentations covering topics such as local biodiversity, wildlife rescue and harmonic coexistence with wildlife and nature. These sessions are available for all age groups and can be tailored to match specific needs and interests.

Through interactive presentations, hands-on activities and real-life case studies, participants gain practical knowledge about wildlife protection, rescue protocols and conservation challenges in Naxos and the Cyclades.
Participation in our programs directly supports our organization’s ongoing rescue and conservation efforts.

All our educational programs are conducted without the use or display of wild animals under our care, in full respect of their recovery and welfare. We rely instead on multimedia, rescue equipment, props and interactive demonstration to create meaningful, ethical learning experiences.
One of our key initiatives, the Sea Turtle First Responders Training, has already engaged visitors from all over the world, equipping them with the skills to identify, respond to and report sea turtle emergencies.

As part of the project Cyclades Care for Wildlife, and with the kind support of Cyclades Preservation Fund, our organization carried out a series of educational and awareness visits to Cycladic islands including Syros, Amorgos and Santorini.
The activities focused on the protection of sea turtles and their habitas, as well as training on rescue protocols. The sessions were attended by local Coast Guard officers, professionals and residents of the islands.

We welcome collaborations with schools, universities, tourism companies, professionals and community groups who share our vision of a more informed and compassionate approach to wildlife and nature.
